You've read about them: Brightmail, Cloudmark, SpamBouncer,
Declude, Praetor, Vamsoft ORF, BCware NoSPAM, CommuniGate,
MessageWall, Nexor Mailer, VOP Mail Filter, XWall, IronMail, Postini,
Power Tools, MDaemon, Merak Mail Server, Clearswift SpamActive,
CanIT, SurfControl, SAproxy, with Spam Assassin as -perhaps-
the most used Spam Fliter installed to 1000s of servers today.

Spam filters detect words and expressions
that are frequently used by Spammers in their emails and then based
upon their filtering rules, determine that it is Spam. The
"Spam" then is "blocked" from ever being sent.
The Problem
Unfortunately,
this form of electronic censorship is also stopping readers from
receiving legitimate emails, newsletters, and ezines they have
subscribed to!
You know it already, don't you?
If you're an ezine/newsletter writer, email
marketer, journalist or simply a writer trying to reach your
audience through email, you have already experienced that the
cure is worse than the disease!
All of your hard work in researching, writing,
editing and building your opt-in database is being wasted. It
is highly likely that your subscribers are not getting your
emails without you or them even knowing.
Words and expressions like: removal
instructions, free report, special promotion, money back guarantee,
cards accepted, online business, opt-in, advertisement, free
subscription, loose weight, overseas cruise and countless other
combinations can also trigger Spam Filters.
Even just typing certain words in UPPERCASE or
using the # key could mean your subscribers
don't get your newsletter.
Decent people have tried many
ways to have message reach their audience...

Many have resorted to sending their
subscribers two emails - one being the actual newsletter
and the second being a notification that the newsletter has been
sent. With this method your subscribers and customers know you
have at least made a genuine attempt to deliver what they have
requested. Unfortunately this method increases your workload, with
more bounce backs, and cluttered inboxes, especially if your
client's belong to several ezines that use the same method.

Others have resorted to sending a link to
a web page displaying the latest edition of their newsletter
online. Unfortunately this method may not work for subscribers who
have slow dial up connections, who simply can’t be bothered
waiting for pages to load. Gone is the convenience of having your
newsletter delivered right to their inbox. It can also be a huge
burden on your server if you have a large subscriber database and
they all attempt to visit the same web page at the same
time.

Another "work a round" used by
email veterans is to use an apostrophe, or any other symbol
and split the "suspicious words", so they are no longer
recognized by the Spam Filters. Again, trying to manually
insert these symbols is a pain...
If you want to test Ken's system do these:
Create a new email message.
Copy-and-paste your subject of your ezine,
but start your subject with the word "TEST" (without the
quotes, in UPPER CASE - If the subject does NOT start with TEST
the system will assume it's REAL spam and delete it). Here's a
sample subject...
TESTFlower-Lovers Ezine #007: Peonies for
the Yukon
Then copy-and-paste the rest of your ezine text and simply send
it, exactly the way you would send it to your recipient, to spamcheck-associatescenter@sitesell.net
You'll get a report back (in seconds, perhaps a few minutes if
volume is heavy) telling you how good or bad your e-mail is, from
a spam-detector's point of view.
The Solution
I love AUTOMATION and you'd should too, because
automation is the success secret of ALL successful Internet
Marketers.
I tried to find a solution...
